Comments Clytemnestra can be a big, healthy , sprawling shrub that bears plenty of flowers whose color varies from pale pink through shell pink, buff, and even pale apricot. It is packed with positive attributes, but it is overshadowed by better roses among Pemberton's flock of hybrid musks. It compares most closely with Cornelia, whose growth may be a little more compact, refined, and garden friendly. For buff flowers, Buff Beauty might be better. And for reliably apricot flowers, Francesca is better. If, however, one needs a large shrub at the edge of a woodland, Clytemnestra can be a good choice.
