Comments Its double buds open almost like high-centered blossoms in pale yellow or buff. Then they fade fairly quickly to white as they open in hot sun. Where it stays cooler, and is less exposed to light, the flowers tend to stay yellow longer. The flower looks good at all stages. The rose plant is healthy, vigorous, and very generous by producing blossoms on a very well branched and tall plant. Peter Beales roses and Antique Rose Emporium, both, recommend this rose for growing on a wall. Surprisingly, Beales recommends it for a north-facing wall. If it can do well there, it must surely be a good rose for an east or west facing wall. Sadly, it is not remontant.
