Comments Its flowers are a clear, bright red that are alternatively described as crimson or scarlet. The color evidently bleaches slightly in the hot California sun, suggesting that it may be more pleasing in locations that do not get extremely bright summer sun. It is highly decorated and very solidly rated by ARS members, suggesting that it is both fairly generous with its flowers and of relatively easy culture.
