Comments How rare it is to find a good lilac colored rose. This is a good rose, but it is only just lilac rather than pink. It is said to produce flowers right through the heat of August. The blossoms are large and cupped, and they are full of fragrance. A few might complain that the flowers are just a little too heavy for the stems, causing the faces to droop a little when wet, but others will find this to be part of the charm. And there will be the usual complaints about its vicious thorns; but that's a little like complaining about all the music at the disco.
