Comments If one sets out to light up a garden with red and yellow flowers, it's not easy to find a rose that is more generous than Charisma. Its golden yellow buds turn bright scarlet at the tips and the color moves down the petal as the flower opens. When fully open the way they are arranged in rings around a center can be suggestive of marigolds. It's a bold look, but it is not without its flaws; for the flowers may begin to fade before they fall off. And not everyone who loves the bright flowers will feel the same about the faded ones. For a red/yellow rose of its day, it probably has an above-average health record, but this is probably not a good rose to grow where summers are especially hot and muggy.
