Comments This is "one of the most delectable of old garden roses," says Clair Martin - curator of Huntingdon Rose Gardens. "Deserves to be in every garden" declares Peter Beales of Celestial. ARS members rate it a stellar 8.5. Its fragrant cheery pale pink blossoms are produced just once a year, but there are many of them and they look fantastic held against the gray-green foliage. The rest of the time, one can enjoy a very pretty shrub. As is true of most albas, it will take some light shade; and it will thrive in impoverished soil.
