Comments It has been so popular and so well loved for so long that there have occasionally been competitions and rating systems that have excluded it, alone, from consideration; "Aside from Cecile Brunner, what is your favorite rose...?" In the last 30 years, with the ascention of miniatures, of good shrub roses, and of English roses, some of its qualities are to be found in other roses. But it is a rare rose, indeed that can boast fragrant, well formed flowers, produced all season long and in profusion on a tight, shrubby, healthy plant.
