Comments With a perfect shape, long vase life, unique and attractive color, strong fragrance, and a name evocative of all of these qualities, this rose is hard to resist. Its salmon color is soft enough to work well in a border, interesting enough to work as a cut flower, and strong enough to live in beds of vibrantly colored roses. Curiously, the rose is absent from ARS ratings. It wins trophies in Canada, and it is apparently not distributed in the muggy parts of the US, suggesting it does well with cool summers. Even more puzzling is that HMF suggests it is not cold hardy even in zone 7a, meaning this beauty is fit only for the French Riviera or places with identical weather.
