Comments Two roses won an AARS award in 1965, Camelot and Mister Lincoln. Camelot one hears less about, but it is in broad circulation in home gardening centers. It is a warm pink kissed lightly with orange - both a bright and a garden-friendly color. Descending from Queen Elizabeth, it gets some of that rose's toughness and vigor. Its blossoms do not quite conform to the perfect high-centered standards for hybrid tea roses, nor does it make as many blossoms as most floribunda roses. But it is a survivor, and it will add interest to any part of the garden it inhabits.
