Comments When grown to perfection, no rose is more beautiful or more striking than Brigadoon. The tips of its petals are a strong, warm, dark coral or scarlet. The bases of the petals are a buttery cream. When the colors do not develop in quite this manner it is not especially beautiful or striking. It's a little hard to predict how well developed the colors will be, but probably warm days and nights, ample sun, steadily damp soil, mulch, a steady diet of organic fertilizer, regular sprying, and anything else associated with the best practices of rose culture will help. Brigadoon can be quite slow to develop; but it is frequently worth the wait. Those who fall in love with this rose will never garden without it.
