Comments I love this rose; not from growing it (I failed) but from seeing it well grown one year at the Colonial Park rose Garden in Somerset, NJ. In the petals of this flower you will find oranges, lemons, melons, apricots, and perhaps even cherries - both in color and in smell. This is not a rose to judge on the basis of a single blossom. Or on the basis of a single plant's blossoms. This rose needs a whole bed if it is to express the full range of its multitonal brassy composition. Constitutionally it's a solid rose. And where its colorful constitution fits into a planting plan, there is no substitute.
