Comments This is a rare hybrid between R. multiflora and R. rugosa and as such is extremely cold hardy. The flowers are rather neatly packed with petals, and they vary in color quite a bit. The outer petals generally look a faded pink, with inner petals a darker pink touched with mauve or lilac. The plant is extremely vigorous, capable of sending up 15 ft long canes in one year. It blooms generously once a year. To be this effusive, though, it needs bright sun and perfect, moist soil.
