Comments Elegance embodied. Poulsens Pearl reminds us how much beauty can be achieved by stripping away the unecessary and distracting. The flowers are single and borne in great clusters. The fronts of the petals are a pale, silvery pink that usually looks white. The backs of the petals are a deeper pink. A central boss of stamens starts a deep purplish and fades to buff. The plant's habit is big and round and open - not unlike the more famous Sally Holmes. Its stellar ARS rating suggests that this is a plant that tolerates just about any sort of growing condition or neglectful cultural practice. This rose might look good grown with Playgirl and Sally Holmes.
