Comments There exist a handful of really good Damask roses including Isfahan, La Ville de Bruxelles, and Madame Hardy. And there is this one. As Peter Beales suggests: this rose may be of more interest as a historical artifact or a curiosity than as a good garden rose. Sometimes it bears pink and white flowers. Sometimes it bears pink ones. Sometimes striped ones. It grows as a big lax shrub that tends to fall over on itself if not fastened to a fence or a wall.
