Comments Its sultry dark red blossoms almost look like they are flocked. They are almost always in perfect form. When everything goes right it is an unusual and completely captivating rose. But if the plant is grown in soil that gets just a bit too dry, the flowers dessicate quickly and look horrendous - not quite as good as burnt toast. And in humid weather it can develop a troublesome relationship with blackspot. Black Jade?s perfect form, compact size, and need of constant attention suggest it would be perfect grown in a container.
