Comments It's not possible to describe the color of the rose. The fronts of the petals are a muddy reddish shade which can sometimes render orangish red and sometimes soft violet and sometimes gray. The reverses are light, but the petals are thin enough that sometimes you cannot perceive the difference. The form is a little muddled. A very experienced and skilled gardener in northern california complains that special pains are required to keep it alive. This is definitely a rose for the serious collector (rosomane) only.
