Comments Pink buds open, fade to white at the edges and to pale primrose at the center. This warm color combination is accented perfectly by bronze-green foliage. No rose lover could be satisfied to keep only Bishop Darlington in a garden, since it is a rather plain rose; but it could play a strong contributory role in a larger garden, especially one that features single roses.
