Comments Verdun is capable of making lots of clusters of rosy crimson flowers on a complact frame. It's ability to do this is matched by only a handful of other multiflora roses such as Marie Pavie with which it consorts beautifully. It's quite resistant to blackspot, but can fall prey to mildew.
