Comments The rose clashes with its own foliage of which there is not enough to begin with, and even less when the blackspot is in full swing. The globular white flowers are nice, but this particular finely speckled manifestation of striping looks fussy and distracting. It is said to repeat, but it only does this in a very technical sense, not a really practical sense. And to get it to bloom in the first place, pegging is advised. It's the kind of rose that might work well when one had an island-shaped space of about 8 ft x 12 ft and wanted to put in a handful plants and lots of mulch. It gets good ARS marks and smells good.
