Comments Its high-centered blossoms have petals with shell pink faces and deeper rose pink reverses. They are neat and there's a sense of both color and restraint. The plant is vigorous, but even though it's listed as "very disease resistant" at HMF it can perish in a single season thanks to blackspot in a zone 6b garden in the northeast. We can expect nothing better of it for most places east of the Mississippi river. It may find the nortwest too cool to grow vigorously. It does very well in Idaho, parts of California and Texas. To honor its even and predictable performance all over the country it won an AARS award in the year of its introduction!
