Comments Tour de Malakoff can make a big, open shrub. The flowers are old style cupped and muddled and can vary in color: opening purple and fading through mauve, cool pink, and lilac toward gray. The canes are long, and the plant is not highly branched, so it can be trained as a climber. Fragrance is very strong. Sadly, there is no repeat.
