Comments It bears medium sized ivory colored roses in great numbers, and these are framed by deep olive green foliage. There is a generous flush in the spring and it repeats in the fall. The fragrance is a rich musk. Botanica's Roses calls Thisbe "One of the loveliest of shrub roses." Graham Thomas said "It's a good thing it smells so good, otherwise he'd forget about the rose which otherwise is quite good."
