Comments Coral buds fade to rosy pink flowers. The compact plant is well provided with glossy foliage which really makes the flowers glow. The individual blossoms are not remarkable, but there can be a lot of them. Occasionally it will produce so many as to obscure the foliage. In cool summer areas where it is most useful, it is vigorous and disease free. It will do best with freeze protection at the north end of its range and where springs produce a large number of severe freeze-thaw cycles.
