Comments Scarlet or vermilion petals are edged in pink and fade to yellow at the center. Old blossoms tend to age to pink. This is one of McGredy's more striking hand-painted roses, and it is one of more highly decorated ones. It doesn't have much fragrance, and it's hard to imagine the flowers as being very good for exhibition, but it might make a bold splash in the garden. It might look good planted with Oranges and Lemons.
