Comments This is one of several climbers that can cover the end of a house. Not that many Americans will be able to grow it since it is only hardy in the coastal regions of California, Texas, and Florida. Given the right house in the right location, Belle Portugaise is an ideal plant. The huge, silky, pale apricot flowers have a soft, romantic, mediterranean quality to them that would make any house with black ironwork and tile roof look better.
