Comments Evidently the goal of the breeder of Simplicity was to bring something of Iceberg's vigor, good health, and ability to make flowers to a plant that worked well as a hedge. The flowers suggest, too, that Warriner wanted something at least mildly photogenic. Sadly, the plant has several significant problems. It looks leggy, an unforgivable flaw in a hedge plant. It blooms with good coninuity, but rarely blooms very heavily. And it is susceptible to blackspot even in New Jersey.

BTW: The breeder Lens released a rose named Simplicity some years later in 1990 that was a cross of Little Angel x Pascali.
