Comments The coloration of this rose is highly variable. It might be pale yellow with pink outer petals. At the other extreme, it might be amber with flaming scarlet outer petals. It could render mostly pink or mostly yellow or mostly gold. Sometimes it looks plain, sometimes it looks pretty, sometimes it looks festive, sometimes it looks garish, and especially once the blooms get past their prime, sometimes it looks ugly. It's definitely not a good rose to attempt on its own roots. It's not necessarily fond of blistering heat, so in places like San Antonio and Phoenix give it a few hours of PM shade. Once you get through all the caveats and fine print, though, it's a cold hardy, disease resistant plant with nicely formed fragrant blossoms.
