Comments The outer petals are a deep crimson, while the inner ones are a medium pink or white. The ends of all the petals are fringed, or pinked. It's neither extremely foliferous nor are the flowers fragrant. It is a good novelty flower borne on a plant that evidently can survive for decades without much help.

BTW: According to a discussion at HMF the Serratipetala by Prevost is extinct and this is the Jacques china rose by that name. Although it would be more correct to call this rose by its given name of Fimbriata, it is better known now under the name Serratipetala. And using that name creates less confusion.
