Comments Belinda's Dream is an unusual rose with an unusual heritage. It is a cross of the hybrid tea rose Tiffany with the wichurana climber Jersay Beauty. The resulting plant produces high centered blossoms of a Hybrid Tea, grows in the shape of large shrub, is nearly so generous with flowers as a floribunda, and is blessed with the fragrance of an Old Garden Rose. And it has no thorns. What more is there to ask for? But no rose is perfect. Some are not impressed with the form of the flower. Some find its pink too common. And it actually doesn't bloom quite as generously or repeat quite so well as we'd hoped. Tiffany won an AARS title in the year of its introduction and has been popular ever since. Jersey Beauty was one of the few roses upon which the late great rose breeder Jack Harkness bestowed a second star.
