Comments Pillars of this rose at Rosaraie de l' Hay grab your attention and don't let it go. They are nearly 50% covered with the brightest red single flowers imaginable: a saturated vermilion red that fades only the slightest bit toward dark coral whent he blossoms age. This is one of a tiny group of climbing floribunda sports. It's a rose one would want to grow near other strongly colored roses lest it render them invisible or worse. Sarabande is a landscape rose with a very solid record for thriving with little care.
