Comments There are precious few healthy, fragrant, repeat flowering old roses with large flowers. Salet might be one. This one also brings a compact habit that will allow it to squeeze into any garden. Also, it can tolerate some shade. Austin complains that the flower is coarse, which may be true, but it seems like a fair trade for the other qualities. This may not be a good choice very hot and muggy areas due to blackspot.
