Comments It produces relatively large, floppy flowers that are typically a rich, dusky coral; but they are sometimes depicted closer to magenta. They are strongly redolent of spice. Typical mint green rugosa foliage covers a well-branched frame. It can reach seven feet in each direction, but is often kept to less than chest high. Blooms are produced through the season, and orange hips appear in fall.

BTW: This may be Van Fleet's most highly rated rose. It is vigorous, disease-free, remontant, and fragrant. Furthermore, it is very difficult to find good roses in this dusky shade. Most rugosa hybrids are closer to mauve or magenta.
