Comments It's a vigorous and shrubby plant that makes lots of rosy flowers. Its greatest contribution to the rose garden, though, has probably been through its progeny. Iceberg is the most famous of the first generation descendents. But there's also Eva, Otto Linn, Mozart, and most of the seven dwarves. David Austin's Dove and Heritage are among its grandchildren. HelpMeFind finds more than 10,000 roses that have Robin Hood as an ancestor. That puts it in the company of Mrs. Norbert Levavasseur and Soleil d'Or, an elite group of rose ancestors.
