Comments "From the time of its introduction to the early 1990?s this rose set the standard by which all other yellow [minis] were judged" according to Botanica's Roses. And it is still an excellent choice today. There is something to its perfect but quirky yellow blossoms, its nearly-evergreen dark foliage, and its disease-free nature that cause us to tend to overlook its minor faults. One is that it rarely produces many flowers at once. It produces them in dribs and drabs. And they begin to look a little ragged at the end, so it rarely looks its best. But this makes it no worse than any other rose. And in every other way it is at least as good. ARS members give it a very respectable 8.3.
