Comments Its bright yellow flowers flush with magenta pigment, turning parts of the flower orange, scarlet, red, then a dusky rose. The number of possible effects is mind boggling. And most of them work well here thanks to the rich yellow and the smooth distribution of the magenta pigment. It's a rose that has been in distribution for a long time because instead of being susceptible to blackspot - as are most bright red and yellow roses - this one is susceptible to mildew. This makes it a better choice for gardeners in the American Southeast than most other yellows. Some will find it too garish, especially those who have whole gardens full of pink roses. And some will simply find the fully blown flowers ugly.
