Comments It's a little hard to tell what color this rose is, the coppery-orange blossoms seem to either turn toward dark coral or else fade toward buff. But it doesn't matter, whatever orangish color it displays, it is still a pretty rose. It's hard to know what to think of its garden record; an RHS AGM award suggests exceptional garden performance in the UK. A 6.9 rating among ARS members suggests only middling performance. It has, however, been a continuous entry in the Edmunds' Roses catalogue for nearly two decades suggesting a wide acceptance of the rose among exhibitors. It's a good bet that the rose suffers from blackspot where summers are hot and muggy. It evidently does well elsewhere.
