Comments Golden yellow flowers are overlaid with pink giving the rose an appearance true to name. Its unique appearance, its international decoration, and its solid rating with ARS members suggest that it might reasonably be more broadly grown. On the other hand, much work has been done over the last three decades to improve the reliability and health of red and yellow roses; so some more recent introduction might fair better. One string at HelpMeFind Roses suggests that in Chico California with 8% relative humidity this rose can be completely defoliated by blackspot. That's about as bad as it can get.
