Comments Its flowers are a very bright red. "Scarlet-Crimson" is usually not a very meaningful description; but the rose is frequently described as being this shade of bright red. And it fits. Listed as disease resistant, presumably it does pretty well where blackspot is not a constant problem. Perhaps it does well in other locations, too. The flower form is delightfully high centered with nicely reflexing petals. And the rose is fragrant. What more could one ask for? That it be cold hardy, too.

BTW: There is some disagreement over the seed parent. One source reports "Silver Lining" another reports "Red Burn"
