Comments This rose has, evidently, never been very popular, too frequently being taken for a pink rose or passed over for something brighter. According to C&K Jones 1998 catalogue Rebecca Claire is the only rose except for Alec's Red that has won both the President's International Trophy and the Edland Medal for fragrance. This rose is certainly deserving of consideration, for it is fragrant and comes in an interesting color combination. Those who grow it rate it strongly for a hybrid tea rose.
