Photo of Rose Touch of Class Touch of Class has an ARS rating of 9.0 which puts it in the "unconditionally healthy and terminally beautiful" category. Neither the roses in the the garden nor the one in this phogograph suggest to me why this rose might rate above 7.5. Yes, this is a beautiful color. Yes this is a very high centered bloom.

Botanica yields some hints: long stems, slow opening, blooms in cool weather. These are all assets when the rose is cut for an indoor display or exhibit. The rose does, according to Botanica get mildew.

As hybrid teas go this one is pretty nicely branched and pretty well foliaged.
