The flowers of this English rose are among the smaller flowers of this line: this one was about two inches across. But the eye can spot from a distance of ten feet or so that the flower is interestingly shaped and subtly colored. The plant can grow to five feet, is well branched and foliaged. It is not overly prone to diseases, though like many roses descended from Constance Spry it will get downy mildew. The rose is fragrant, but not powerfully so. ARS members give it a solid 7.9. |
