Low Roses | Bushes | Shrubs | Climbers
Photo of Rose Raubritter Mountains of pendulous pink cupped flowers in the David Austin photo of Raubritter caught my imagination and I planted Raubritter. It is supposed to get three feet tall and seven feet wide. In four years mine have managed not quite half that. And this is the first year I've really been able to enjoy that pendulous clusters of flowers thing.

The problem is I've set them on six inches of terrible soil on gravel. They dessicate in the heat of summer. And they fall prey to fungal disease. It's quite a job just keeping them alive. This photo has earned them two more years in the garden.
