Photo of Rose Charles de Gaulle Perle d'Or produces small, high centered buds in apricot that open wide to floppy flowers that fade to buff and white in hot sun. In warm weather this is an extremely healthy and vigorous plant. It's fairly well branched and bears quite a lot of glossy olive green foliage.

It is one of the first polyanthas, being a direct cross of rosa multiflora and the tea rose Mme Falcot.

ARS members rate it 8.4, It received an RHS award for garden merit in 1993.
