The attraction of this hybrid tea rose is its large size and luminous color. The flowers typically exceed five inches in diameter, and six is not much of a stretch. The foliage is semi-glossy and dark green and the plant is nicely branched. Disease resistance is reputed to be very good. And under the right conditions the rose is vigorous.

But this rose craves sun and warmth. Possibly, there are too few places in the continental US that can provide an adequate supply for the rose, for ARS members rate it 5.9.
