Low Roses | Bushes | Shrubs | Climbers
|I fall hopelessly for pink and white bicolors and this rose is no exception. I find the rose blossom itself irresistable.
The problems I have with this rose, however, are several. First, of the hundred or so cultivars I observed growing in San Jose Rose Garden on this day, I observed fungal disease on just two: this rose and Nicole. Second, the flowers are not very big nor are they as plentiful as they would be if they were produced in proportion to the rose's small in size. Third, the matt olive green foliage is the wrong color to complement the rose, and it grows so near it that it cannot be ignored. The fungal spots make it more distracting.
ARS members rate this rose 7.4, and it is widely available. Fertilize and spray.
