Remontant & Fragrant
Low Roses | Bushes | Shrubs | Climbers
|Great News, Edmund LeGrice weighs in with another novel rose. Today, this blossom might pass for one of David Austin's English roses with its old rose form and good fragrance, but the glossy foliage hints that one grandparent was Peace. The rose has a good health record and is nicely foliaged and branched. It would look good in a mixed border where its uneven growth would not be so noticable.
The rose is all but completely unknown in the US, and will probably never be a raging success for its charms are as subtle as they are enduring.
