No rose, I expect, comes so close to actually resembling its namesake as this one. For some that would be reason enough to grow it.
But as good a reason as that might be, it is the least of them; for this is an exceptionally foliferous, long blooming, and vigorous plant. It is very healthy, and to guild the lilly, it is fragrant.
