Good yellow roses are hard to find. But if pale yellow is acceptable, this rose is just about perfect. It bears large quantities of five-petalled primrose yellow flowers on a shrub that is vigorous and generally healthy. As you can see, it does occasionally get some black spot, but the plant manages to thrive despite some fungal attacks. The plant, if pruned well, will grow into a relatively dense, well foliaged shrub. ARS members give it an astounding 8.9 and it has an award of garden merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Almost every self-respecting nursery carries it. |
