George Burns

Low Roses | Bushes | Shrubs | Climbers
Photo of Rose Whiskey Mac George Burns was one of the twentieth century's best loved, longest lived comedians. He was at his best when he worked with his zany 'straight man' Gracie, his wife. She was over-the top. He was understated. So there is a subtle irony to the naming of these flowers.

The rose was introduced in 1996 and is as well loved as its namesake: ARS members give it 7.7. That's not something to laugh at.
