It's hard to decide what to think of this rose. The small, cupped blossoms are an attractive shade of red. And the rose is clearly capable of producing an ample number of them nicely spaced. There is also ample foliage. But the leaves show signs of fungal attack. Rightly or wrongly, when I see this at the nursery I always think "If experts cannot keep this rose clean, how will I do so when I plant it among my many roses and grow it without spraying?" ARS members rate it 7.6, so it evidently performs quite well in most of its new gardens. |
